Motherhood can be one of the most transformative experiences a woman will ever have. It brings new love, new purpose and a whole new set of challenges.

At Space to Be Mothers, we understand that while motherhood can be joyful, it may also be filled with questions, pressures and moments of uncertainty.  Sometimes, you need the space, support, and connection to find the answers within.

This is a therapeutic and supportive process where mothers come together in a group setting to heal from current experiences, relationship issues, relational wounds, often rooted in childhood, current maternal, societal struggles, or intergenerational trauma, through shared experience, empathy and mutual support. 

This space becomes a haven for healing mothers. Guided support for deep connection and a space to be seen, heard, and held.

ABOUT OUR GROUP FOR MOTHERS

This group is a safe and welcoming space for mothers navigating the emotional, mental, and practical changes that come with raising children. Whether you’re sleep-deprived, overwhelmed, feeling lost in your identity, or simply seeking a genuine connection with other women who understand, this is a space where you belong.

WHY THIS GROUP EXISTS

In today’s world, mothers are often expected to do everything and do it well. You are managing your home, caring for your child, trying to hold onto your sense of self, and juggling work or other responsibilities. And all the while, you are bombarded with images and messages about what “good motherhood” should look like.

The result? Many mothers feel they are falling short, even when they are doing their best. They feel alone, exhausted, or like they have lost parts of themselves. That is where this group comes in. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from support. Sometimes, just having space to speak your truth or sit quietly and know that others feel the same can bring a sense of relief and comfort, enough to begin shifting how you think.

WHAT TO EXPECT

An experienced professional facilitator guides our sessions. Whether you share or listen, you will be welcomed precisely as you are —tired, uncertain, joyful, or overwhelmed. Relational healing through connection, trauma-informed support. In this group, you will be heard, understood, and your experiences will be validated.

Finding yourself again after becoming “Mum”

You are still you, even though everything has changed. We explore how to reconnect with your identity, passions and personal needs.

Managing expectations

From your own expectations to those of family, friends, or society, we discuss the pressure to “do it all” and what it means to redefine success on your terms.

Emotional and mental well-being

We explore how to support, protect, and nourish your mental health during a time when your focus is often entirely on others.

Navigating changing relationships in family and life

Together, we will explore how motherhood continually shifts your relationships in life and how to navigate these changes with awareness and self-care.
