SPACE TO BE MOTHERS

A SAFE PLACE TO BE HEARD

Many mothers feel pressure to “cope,” to push through, avoiding their needs and emotional wellbeing, maybe as perceived strength, or a badge of honour. To keep going no matter what. But the truth is, motherhood can be isolating and requires support, especially during significant life transitions or times of grief. A generation of mothers deserves to be genuinely supported in genuine connection—no courses, booklets, or journals—just real, relational healing.

At Space to Be Mothers, we address what is silenced at a safe pace.

You do not have to perform or pretend. You do not have to arrive with solutions or leave with answers.

These sessions are about being seen, heard, and supported.

We create supportive and reflective spaces where honest conversations occur, where mothers feel held in connection and understanding, and where their experiences are validated and acknowledged.

GROUPS FOR MOTHERS AT ANY STAGE OF MOTHERHOOD

Motherhood unfolds in stages, each bringing its own unique challenges. Whether you are raising a toddler, a young adult, or somewhere in between, you may experience moments of uncertainty or emotional exhaustion. GROUPS FOR MOTHERS WHO HAVE LOST THEIR MOTHERS

Mothering after the loss of your mother can stir up powerful emotions. Whether your relationship with your mother was close, complicated or painful, her absence may feel sharper once you become a mother yourself. TRAUMA RELEASE EXERCISES (TRE)

As a complement to our therapy groups, we also offer Trauma Release Exercises in separate in-person sessions. TRE is a body-based approach to releasing stored stress and trauma by activating the body’s natural response. These sessions are ideal for mothers holding tension, anxiety or trauma in the body, whether related to parenting, past experiences, or everyday life. The benefits of TRE include:

WHY THESE SPACES MATTER

Motherhood is not one-size-fits-all, and the emotions that come with it are real, valid and worthy of support. At Space to Be Mothers, we are not offering fixes. We are offering space.

Space to slow down. Space to be real. Space to feel held by a group of women who will truly understand what you are going through.

You do not need to be in crisis to join. You do not need to have it all figured out.

You need a little room to breathe, and that is exactly what we provide.
